The Man Mo Temple in Tai Po, Hong Kong is 26 km (16 mi) from the harbor. The temple is dedicated to Man (literature) and Mo (military) and was built in 1893 in the style of a central walled compound to emphasize seclusion.
These golden Buddhas are located in the Temple of 10,000 Buddhas in Hong Kong. Life-size statues line the steep flight of over 400 steps leading to the temple. The actual number of Buddhas is more than 13,000.
Lo Wai walled village in Hong Kong was the first of five walled villages built by the Tang clan.
Tai Fu Tai Mansion in Yuen Long, Hong Kong, dates to 1865 and was built by Man Chung Lien of the Man Clan. The building is regarded as a fine example of a traditional dwelling of the scholar-gentry class and one of the most elegant buildings in Hong Kong.
